Bird House Card using Best Birds and Birds & Blooms

Hi Stampers

Thank you for checking in today.     Are you like me…… LOVING THE NEW CATALOGUE!!    I have been so inspired that every night after work I have headed into the studio to create… and I am enjoying every minute.    I am taking a few days off work this week and plan to putter around the house and spend some quality time with my Stampin’ Up! stash 🙂   Yes that makes me happy.

Today’s card features the Best Birds stamp set and the Birds & Blooms Thinlits.    Sometimes when I see a stamp set I have an immediate idea in mind.    That was the case with this card.   I just had to figure out a way to execute it.

This is my Bird House Card.   What do you think?

And the side view.    I adhered the roof of the bird house with a piece of Tear & Tape at the top, then I did a double layer of Dimensionals towards the bottom… to give it some dimension.

And the inside.

I wanted the outside to look like it was a hole into a bird house… but I am thinking I might remove the circle on the inside of the card and just use the “nest material” stamp.     I will see how that looks.   but in general I am happy with how the card turned out.
