Festive Fireplace, Stampin’ Up!

Card-Christmas

Hi Stampers

Today I am at Stampin’ Up!’s On-Stage event in Mississauga.   I love my swaps but since I am going to use the same design for my Customer Christmas cards this year – I won’t be showing the card until after Christmas.    I know.. but you will just have to wait.

But… I do have an amazing card to share.    Sometimes at Stampin’ Up! events they have Display Boards / Contests and I wanted to make an “Over The Top” card for the event.   This is also one of the cards that will be made at the Demonstrator’s Choice Class at the end of the month (sorry it is full!).   This card uses the Festive Fireplace Stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.

This is the outside of the card.   I wanted to keep it simple, there are loads of layers on the inside and I didn’t want to add more bulk to the card.  Can you say HO! HO! HO!

And when you take the belly band off, you open the card to this!    A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

I love the Home For Christmas Designer Series Paper and have stocked up on it.    How about a closer look at some of the panels.   Check out the detail.   The wreath with Holly Berrys and a gold bow.     The stockings hung on the fireplace, with the Garland on the top of the mantel.    Logs in the fireplace full of flames and glitter.

Ornaments hanging from the top of the curtains.   Trees are full of glitter and topped with gold bows.    Presents, deer, a cat and even Santa.

Here are a couple of views of the card from the top.     All this and it folds flat to fit inside a standard envelope!

This is not a card to mass produce but it is definitely a card for someone very special.

So what do you think…. Do you LOVE it as much as I do ?

        Hi Michelle

Unfortunately I don’t have a written tutorial. This was something I taught in a special class last Christmas. I am working on another one that I need for May and will take note of the measurements and post them once the card is delivered.
