Happy Father’s Day Blog Hop – Rooted in Nature

Rooted in Nature

Blog HopHi Stampers

Welcome to this month’s Blog Hop.       We have gathered from various Stampin’ Up! markets to share some projects with you focusing on Father’s Day.    A lot of the ideas we are sharing with you can also be used for male birthdays or any masculine card.     I don’t know about you, but I always struggle with masculine cards.

Then I saw the Rooted in Nature stamp set from the new Annual Catalogue….oh my… it is a beauty.    And what about the co-ordinating Designer Series Paper, Natures Poem.   I love it.   And in case you didn’t know… the Rooted in Nature stamp set has a co-ordinating die set.      I have also used the new Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set for the Worlds Best Dad.

There are lots of layers in this card and some fussy cutting of the tree and words.   I wanted to give it extra dimension since it is a pretty simple card.   It is hard to put bows, ribbon or rhinestones on a male card 🙂

So grab a cuppa, put your feet up and follow along on the Blog Hop.   Share a comment or two along the way ….   we like to know that you are looking.

Here is my confession.   I had a team meeting last weekend and we did a SWAP.   My SWAP card is below.    I loved it so much that I reworked it for the Hop.

Great card! Wouldn’t have thought to fussy cut part of the tree like that. Love this set. Thanks for sharing your card.
