Hi Stampers

The last card the Club stampers made this month used Happy Watercolour..    This is such an easy card to do and each one looked different.

Happy Watercolour

Using watercolour paper for your card front.     Emboss the word Happy with white embossing powder.     Take your watercolour pen and a puddle of ink in the top of your Stampin’ Up! ink pad and paint over the word Happy.   If you want the colour lighter – add more water to the puddle of ink.    Add a bit of detail (circles, buttons, rhinestones, sequins, etc.) and you have yourself a card.

We used the Naturals White card stock as the base.      This would be an easy mass-produced card for Christmas.    Find a word (like Noel from Greetings of the Season), paint some red over the word and add a bit of bling with stars from the silver glimmer paper.    Picture to come.

Notes:    Darker colours work best for the wash – colours with lots of pigment.   You may want to test some colours before committing.    Some of the blues ended up an unflattering green colour.     The colour used on this card was Blackberry Bliss.
