Another day….. another inspiring card… I hope. This is not my creation. I saw it online and loved the clean look of it and had to recreate it. I honestly can’t remember what colour the original card was stamped in, but I am partial to Wisteria Wonder and Night of Navy. I can’t tell you how easy this card is to put together. The one thing that I would change if I were to make it again, I would pop up the Wisteria Wonder layer.
This card uses the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set that is another free item in the Sale-a-Bration 2018 catalogue. This is a patent pending stamp process and I love the detail. It is all made with just inking up the stamp… but there are some tips.
- Take the stamp pad to the rubber and layer it on. I usually tap the stamp into the pad, but for this one you need to do it opposite. Really make sure you can see the definition in the image before you stamp it.
- Your stamp pad has to have the right amount of ink. It can’t be too dry or too wet.
- I like to kind of push the ink pad and squish it left/right on the stamp (I hope that makes sense).
You will see the detail on the stamp when you have the right amount of ink. I am really making it sound harder than it is, so don’t be intimidated. It is gorgeous. I will have another card to share with you later in the week so check back in. I do find that some colours look better than others with this style of stamp, so you will have to play. And of course it is topped off with a Clear Faceted Gem. You know me… all cards need a bit of bling.
