How do you use up retired Designer Series Paper?

Hi Stampers

Great intentions this weekend.   I am off work today.  With no Clubs or Classes I am spending the weekend creating…. well… I hope.    You know how it goes… sometimes “things” get in the way.   But I am off to a good great start.

I saw a super cute “3-D” item on an Australian blog.  It was in cm and while in Canada we are metric, my paper crafting brain works in Imperial measurements.    So I had some figuring out to do for measurements.

I don’t like to use up current Designer Series Paper when I create something new so I try to find a retired paper that would fit the item.   Once I get the measurements etc how I want, then I will work with new Paper.

This is a super cute “gift” item for Tea Lovers.    Think Teachers gifts, Mother’s Day, Get Well, etc.    Note, this paper is retired.

This is the side of the gift package.

There is room on the inside for tea bags, a small spoon, packaged sugar and in the middle some wrapped chocolate.      I have to get the spoon, sugar and chocolate but I had the tea bags on hand.

Isn’t this super cute?   I love how it turned out.
