Hi Stampers
I always have the TV on when I create. It is background noise more than anything and I often put on a movie that I have seen many times. One that I don’t have to watch but can listen to and let my mind wander in peace. I have a few “Go To” movies, Elvis, Gidget, Love Actually, Come September, PS I Love You…. you can see the pattern here… easy going movies.
Well…. yesterday I tuned in to a “Hell’s Kitchen” marathon. I can’t believe the frustration I was feeling in the craft room. Things were NOT flowing and my mind was very cluttered. I broke at one point to get a coffee and all I could hear in the kitchen was the yelling from the TV and I realized the cause of my frustration. This was “My Creative Ah Ha Moment”. It only took most of the day to realize the problem. But now I know. I went back upstairs, plugged in a Happy Movie and I was on my merry way. Ahhhh. Peace!
One of the cards I made was this “Love” card. The die cut for the Love is retired, but when I saw the sentiment in the “Bloomin’ Heart” stamp set “its in the air”…. I knew I wanted to incorporate a Heart Balloon. The sentiment actually has a heart above the “it’s in the air”, but I masked it off when I stamped the sentiment.
