Occasions Catalogue 2016 Samples

By | November 22, 2015

Hi Stampers

Confession… today is a lazy, lazy day.   I am catching up on watching The Voice…. I have my fav and I think Blake’s team is going to win.   Barrett Baber is amazing.   He has the voice, look, image.   Now don’t spoil it if he has already been eliminated … I still have a few episodes to watch 🙂

I can now show you the samples from OnStage that was held last weekend.    Some of my Customers saw the Catalogue yesterday and they were WOWed!    It makes me very happy when Stampin’ Up! issues a catalogue that appeals to all Customers – and this one is a winner.   They were also very happy with the Sale-a-Bration offerings and wanted to buy product from the catalogue.    It makes me happy to say…. you can’t buy it, but you can have it for FREE!     You just have to wait til January 5th, 2016.

Now to some samples.    We made card fronts and mounted them at home.

Using the “Party Wishes” stamp set, Party Punch Pack, It’s My Party Designer Series Paper and Baker’s Twine.   I over inked the cupcakes (oops) so the sprinkles don’t show up on a couple of them.    Check out the Balloon and Cupcakes…. there are punches for those 🙂    The cherry was me “trying” to be creative.

The next card is made using the “Botanical Gardens Bundle”.  The Botanical Blooms Stamp set, Botanical Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Botanical Builder Framelits Die.   And get this… all three are part of a bundle!    The sentiment is from another stamp set “Happy Home” (pssst… and that stamp set co-ordinates with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies… oh yes!)   Check out the flower.   The die cuts the petals on the flower.

The last sample to show you is from the Going Places Suite.    This card doesn’t do the set justice.    For me, it was one of the “must haves” from the catalogue.   It uses the “Going Global” stamp set, the “Going Places Designer Series Paper” and the “World Traveller Textured Impressions Embossing Folder“.   Instead of doing a traditional embossing we inked up the folder and embossed with our hands (to just get the ink impression on the cardstock).

There was one other sample we made but it didn’t arrive home in great condition.   I will remake it and post it at a later date.
