Sheltering Tree as a Christmas Card

By | January 3, 2016

Hi Stampers

Please tell me I am not the only one that needs to clean out their fridge.!!!   Our community has new recycling rules and garbage day and I have been holding off cleaning out the fridge until Tuesday night (our new garbage day is Wednesday).    Not only is is jam packed with left overs (I am not good with using left overs) but something isn’t smelling great 🙂   I think I may start purging it tonight (can’t wait another day).     I always hated putting out the garbage but now with all the new restrictions it is becoming even more cumbersome.     I am always checking which bin I have to put my garbage in.   But enough with the fridge and garbage.   Who wants to see the  last Club project for December.?

Sheltering Tree Winter / Christmas Card

Don’t need another Christmas card?    Change up the sentiment to Happy Birthday or Thinking of You.   This is a perfect example of using a stamp set for something other than it was meant for.   This is the Tree from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.   Turn it on the side and you have some bare branches.   We used the Shimmery White card stock and then used the Watercolour Pen and reinker to paint the colour on.    It was then embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.   To add the sparkle we used the Crystal Effects with Dazzling Diamonds then topped it off with a Silver Cording bow (retired).    The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and the colours are Whisper White, Black and Marina Mist.     Quick and Easy Peasy.
