Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies by Stampin’ Up!…. WOW

I had intentions of coming home from work this evening and heading into the studio to get creative.   Instead… I had a nap :).   You see, I stopped on my way home to get my hair cut… and it never fails… it always makes me sleepy.   I know.. how silly. But… I just might nap more often because when I finally got into the studio, my creative juices were flowing!

I love the Sleigh Ride Edgelits and co-ordinating stamp set, Jingle All the Way.   In fact… it just might be in my Top 5 favourite sets of all time.   It is classic, detailed, has old world charm and lots of possibilities.   It will be a keeper.

So what did I create?   WOW.  I wanted some bling on the card and thought the middle layer in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper would be perfect. Then I figured what the heck… how about a bit more bling.   I paper pieced a second  Horse and Carriage in the Red Glimmer paper on top of the white layer. The new Fine Tip Glue Pen was perfect to paper piece the layer.    OK… what do you think?   A keeper?
