Card - Christmas

Hi Stampers

Day 2 of the Conference started off with the General Meeting.   Unlike yesterday’s event, today is just for Demonstrators.     130 of us spent the 3 hours learning what Stampin’ Up! Canada is doing for its Demonstrators, how they are keeping us informed and the status of some of the committees that have been formed.     We were given tips and ideas on how to work our businesses and the types of support that is available and were inspired by other Demonstrators and what has worked for them in their businesses.

A bit of a break and at 1:00 pm the first of the two Demonstrator parties took place.    I was scheduled to participate in the first session and worked the second session.       At Registration we each received a Stamp Set – woohoo…. it is the second stamp that was used in yesterday’s project.

Events

Every 10 minutes we rotated from table to table to work on the various pieces for today’s project.    At the 2 minute warning we had “Prize Time”     There were LOADS of prizes handed out.      My ticket number was called during the session I worked and won a Project Life pack and some Baker’s Twine.

Events

Another Stampin’ Up! tradition at events is some type of game…. this time we played “Let’s Make a Deal, Jeopardy, Family Feud”.    Yes… all three games in one.     Dale, Stampin’ Up! Canada’s Manager was a HOOT.    There were 3 Teams at a time playing and the team with the most points at the end of each session won a $30.00 shopping spree (for each team member).    I was on the Paper Dolls team and WE WON!    Wooooohoooo!      I was surprised at some of the questions / facts that came out – did you know on average (for the past quarter), Stampin’ Up! Canada Demonstrators sold 10% more than their US counterparts and across Canada 250 Demonstrators volunteered to help in the Fall Conferences.

Dale warned us that we probably won’t get to pick our freebies until the conferences are over – they are busy most weekends taking the event across the Country.

Working on our projects.

Events

OK… now to the SUPER CUTE projects we made.    I don’t know who to give credit to for these projects but I AM SOOOOO CASING THEM!    Every demonstrator said the same thing…. they will be holding classes to showcase these projects.

Card - Christmas

Check out the closeup picture below – love the bits of bling and snowflakes.    I will show you how we did this.!

Card - Christmas

Look at this cute treat box and the snowflake embellishment.    It co-ordinates perfectly with the card above.    And yes… the box is made using the Gift Box Punch Board!

Stampin’ Up! Canada’s office consists of 2 people Dale and Carrie.   This event was all their doing with help from Demonstrators and Volunteers in Calgary who cut the card stock, etc and from Demonstrators across the country who helped run facilitate the events.     To everyone – job well done and Thank You.

Thanks for stopping by,
Elizabeth, Your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
