I am excited to be participating in my first EVER, Incentive Trip Blog Hop.    Pinch me!    This whole experience is very surreal.   I have wanted to participate in all of the activities surrounding this achievement and this Blog Hop is one of them.    Thank You Kylie for inviting me to play along.    

One of the benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is getting to see, touch and play with new goodies so we can be ready to share them with all of you. The new catalogue goes live on June 4th and you are going to love it.

Good Morning Magnolia – Sneak Peak

I wanted to do something a bit different for this hop and decided to do a Home Decor piece showcasing the beautiful big Magnolia Flower in the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

Using a dollar store acrylic frame, I matted a piece of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper on Basic Black card stock and put it inside the frame. Then I created the big Magnolia flower and adhered it to the outside of the frame with Dimensionals. The flower has lots of layering and dimension. Additional petals were fussy cut out and adhered under the flower. Some of the flower petals were dusted with Blushing Bride ink for a light touch of colour. Additional leaves were also fussy cut, curled and distressed for a “not so perfect” leaf. A bit of bling was added by adhering one of the Gold Faceted Gems to the inside of the flower.

The final touch was the “Enjoy Today”, embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and die cut using the new “Stitched Nested Label” dies. (Love Them!).
