Hi Stampers
I am on holidays this week with 3 goals. Planning some upcoming specialty classes, getting ready for Binder Twine and painting the master bedroom.
So far, so good…. After the two club sessions on Saturday, I got up early Sunday morning, headed to Benjamin Moore and bought my paint. Before I could even tackle that job, I had to strip off the wallpaper. Remind me to NEVER EVER wallpaper again! 8 hours later the wallpaper was off and I fell into bed. Yesterday morning, I painted the ceiling, put on the primer and painted the walls… and fell back into bed.
Today my job is to paint the trim, put up the curtains – which I still have to buy – and finally put the room back together….. and the rest of the house. WHY is it when you tackle a job in one room it affects the rest of the house?
I did have a couple of creative thoughts while painting. So once the room is done I will be heading back to my studio to put pen to paper….. or in this case glue to paper. More information including dates, times, cost and samples to follow but you have the following classes to look forward to in the coming months.
Upcoming Classes
2014 Calendar Class – Dates set October 11th and October 27th. Product is coming from different sources and is limited to a max of 7 in each class.
A Very Merry Christmas featuring the set “Wishing You”. This will be a product based class (the stamp set will be included in the cost of the class). You will make 6 Christmas Cards, with envelopes and co-ordinating Card Holder.
Christmas Greetings featuring the set “Special Season”. This will also be a product based class. More information to come.
Note.. with all Product Based classes, if you already have the set we are using, or are coming with someone you share supplies with, you can order another set of the same value so you won’t have duplication.
I am leaving you with a picture of the Tag / Card Candy / Ornament we made at Club on Saturday. It is gorgeous and the ladies loved it. We placed it on top of a Pool Party card and it was STUNNING as card candy.
