I am famous for “unfinished” projects. Well folks – not this time. I couldn’t rest until I finished up the Advent Calendar. I had a heck of a time coming up with something to put the numbers on. It had to be thick enough so the numbers would last “forever” but not so bulky that all the numbers didn’t fit on the hook. I tried using Balsa wood but it was a pain to paint and I didn’t get clean edges. I ended up using some SU “Glossy white paper” and spray glued two pieces together. There are numbers on both sides. Since I “lost” the dot in the exclamation point I used a Swarovski Hot Fix Chrystal in its place.
Have a good one.

Very nice Elizabeth. One can tell you put a lot of hard work into it. It will truly be treasured.
Oh wow!!!!! Elizabeth this is incredible!!! I KNOW the time and money spent on this was high… but what a treasure you have created!!! I just love it!!! I hope that upcoming trip will be just the best ever!!!
What a great advent calendar! Over $100!! WOW I’m sure your niece and her family will treasure it forever. It’s so very pretty.
Ahhh!!! Only 25 days til Christmas…I better get my rear in gear 🙂
Seriously, I should get my rear in gear because it will be here faster than we know it. Just love the finished project!!
This was well worth finishing! I am more famous for buying the materials to make something and not even starting. 🙂 This is fabulous!
Very pretty! Great job!
I can well imagine the work that went in to this but it was well worth it! You did a fantastic job (and congrats on finishing it – I have a room full of half done projects so I fully understand)
Beautiful work which I know you sister will love.
Wow Elizabeth…this is beautiful!! I know your family will love it! With all of your hard work, it is worth well over the $100 investment you put into it!
