Anyone else watching The Bachelor?

By | March 2, 2009

I know – how Lame! But I get hooked every season. According to the message boards (you know I had to check them out to see why this is “The Most Dramatic Rose Ceremony” ever), he picks Melissa, then dumps Melissa and goes with Molly. We shall see. I know most of it is scripted, but I do have a problem with him dumping someone on National television – even if it is scripted but especially if it isn’t scripted.

Anyhow… on to a card. I had zero inspiration today. I sat down and coloured a few images, but you know when it isn’t there – don’t force it. Instead I picked a card from my “stash” to show you. This is a retired Stampin Up image but one I will never get rid of. It is a fun image to watercolour. This was suppose to be my swap at last year’s Convention, but it got retired just before the event so I had to change plans. It is still one of my favourite cards. Hope you enjoy.

This is cute! I love your apple image too. We visit an apple festival in GA each yr. It so reminds of all the wonderful fun & smells of the apple houses.

I love this image too. I like the red theme and how you colored your apples and bucket.

I agree, when your mojo isn’t flowing, don’t force it. Only makes it go away faster and stay away longer.

Btw… since you asked in your comment on my blog, my bday is today and I turn 46.

Ok. I am a geek to. I watched the Bachelor. I really think he wants to have his cake and eat it too. Molly is nuts.
About the card, LOL, really nice job. The colors are great and I love the image.

Oh, my goodness! This is just beautiful. I’ve always love that set, and your red polka dot background is perfect for the way you’ve showcased the image. Love it. Like that sentiment so much to…so true!

Elizabeth, this is beautiful! I really like the color combination. – it’s so fresh and goes so well with the apple theme. How many did you make before you found out the set had been retired? grrr – I think I would have gone ahead and swapped it anyway!
