Best Birds Anniversary Card
Thanks for checking in today. What can I say….. another day… another card. Woohoo.
I loved being off work today, and as mentioned yesterday, I got up early, grabbed a coffee, turned on the sprinkler and sat on the patio. I love this weather and love it even more when I can be home to enjoy my little back yard. My lawn needed the attention I gave it today… it has been very dry.
Today’s card is another one inspired by the Best Birds stamp set and Birds & Blooms thinlits. I wasn’t sure what to do with the little bird dies but as I was putting away my stamping supplies last night I picked up the Linen Thread to put it back into its “home” and had a thought. Now to execute it. I went through my stash of Stampin’ Up dies and thought that the large stem from the Everyday Jars Framelits would be perfect fit for my idea.
Here is my Happy Anniversary card. Two birds sitting on a laundry line. I used the large stem from the Everyday Jars as the posts for the line and tied the linen thread between the two. Of course the birds needed a heart – I used one of the small hearts from the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits.
