I had posted a card back in March that I received from Rose Murphy (check labels on the right hand side under “Friend”). I loved how she stamped the elephant image on some DSP and then paper pieced it on top. The stamp set is SU’s Happy Heart Day – and well, it is not my favourite stamp set. To be honest I don’t think I ever made a card with this stamp set. I have had Roses’ card sitting on my desk since Regionals waiting to case it and tonight I finally got a chance. This came together super quick and easy. The set is still not my favourite but I like how the card turned out.
I am watching the Idol results show and OMG Frankie Avalon still looks amazing. I was a big Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello fan (before my time but loved watching the old Beach Party movies) and Venus was one of my favourite songs.
