Hello Stampers
Only one more sleep and I can’t wait. Can you imagine it….. all across Canada, the US, South Pacific and Europe – Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are gathering for this FIRST – “On-Stage” event. It is a new type of event for Stampin’ Up! with the main event being held (this time) in Brussels and satellite events in other markets. I am fortunate this year that one of the satellite events is being held at the Mississauga Convention Centre and Cecilia (one of my Team Members) and I are going together. 10 hours of Stampin’ Up!, friendships, make and takes, playing with new product, prize patrol, business sessions, swapping, etc., etc., etc. Oh… and did I tell you… we will be getting the Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue. Squeeeeel! Just one more thing I love about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. And yes… I still have to finish my Swaps.!
And here is another reason. Every year Stampin’ Up! has a Design Team competition and selects Stampin’ UP! Demonstrators from all markets to be on the Design Team for a year. One of the 2014-2015 Team Members is Allison Okamitsu and she shared an AMAZING Advent Tree on the Stampin’ Up! blog. What can I say, you all know that I have a soft spot for Advent Calendars. I made one up and took it in to work. It was a HIT. I was asked to make one for an upcoming Fundraising Event. Of course I am going to take that one up a notch, add some miniature items in some of the open spots, fill it with lots of wrapped candies and wrap it with basket wrap, a nice bow and my Business Card :). I just have to get the supplied ordered.
BUT…. wouldn’t you love to make your own Advent Tree? Running out of dates for November and the Advent starts December 1st, so I am squeezing in a last minute class on November 29th from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Everything is included to make the Advent Tree – except the candies 🙂 And if you are curious.. yes this Advent can be used for years to come.
Cost of the class is $30.00. Class size will be VERY limited to the amount of product I pre order. One spot is already spoken for. If you want to make this Advent let me know ASAP.
Thanks for stopping by,
Elizabeth, Your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
