Clockworks Elegant Grunge

Card - Thanksgiving

Hi Stampers

I have finally been stamping and have a card to show you.     I LOVED one of the cards that was made at convention but I didn’t have the elements to create the card.     I played around and used items that I had on-hand instead.

I love the grunge look but honestly have a hard time reproducing it…. but I think that is because I am a “Ruler Girl” :).     For this card I used the VersaMark Marker and drew freehand lines across the bottom and top of the black card stock.   I then embossed it in gold.   I used Clockworks and stamped it on the “contraband” black polka dot paper and embossed it in gold.   I used the BigZ Beautiful Butterfly die and ran it through the new Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.   I rubbed the VersaMark pad over the butterfly and embossed in gold.    Then I punched out a small butterfly and layered it over the larger butterfly.   I lightly tapped the button in the VersaMark and sprinkled gold embossing powder over the button.     For the sentiment I used the “So Grateful” from “Apothecary Art”.    I was originally wanting a sentiment that was small enough to go horizontally but I ended up loving how the So Grateful fills in that space and is beside the butterfly.     I finished off the card with some Pool Party Bakers Twine on the top.

Well…. what do you think?     I am loving the end result.

I also have one of the cards made and cut out for the Club on the 17th.   2 more projects to go.   Yeh Me!.  ohhh… and yes we will be making some Christmas projects.
