Hi Stampers
Welcome to this month’s blog hop and the theme of “Patriotic”. With July 1st being Canada Day, and it is just around the corner, I thought this would be a fun hop to participate in. This will also be a fun hop to follow as you travel around the blogs and various countries to see how everyone interprets the theme. Think of it as travelling in your PJ’s 🙂
I went traditional with red and white colours and the Maple Leaf. Now this has me thinking… our Team Name is the Maple Leaf Stampers… this just might make a great welcome card to new Team Members…. hummmm… this is an idea.
Colourful Seasons Patriotic Card for Canada Day
I love playing with Shrinky Dinks. The original card I had in mind was using the shrunken leaves in a shaker card… but it didn’t work as I had envisioned it… so I went with Plan B. The Silver Metallic thread is my take on fireworks. The Real Red card stock was stamped with a combination of Real Red ink (for the larger leaf) and Versamark (for the smaller leaf).
Thanks for stopping by and remember to keep hopping and sharing the love.
