Well Stampers… the snow is almost gone. What is left behind is a lot of garbage that was buried under the snow banks. I can’t wait to get out outside to clean up and sweep the winter away. Until then (I hope this weekend) here is a Spring card for you using the stamp set “Decorate a Daisy”. Yeppers… another one that I have had for a while but never used. There is a pattern forming here folks 🙂 I am trying to ink up all my stamp sets before the new catalogue comes out. That way I won’t feel too bad if some of them retire. At least I can say I used it.
What you need for this card:
Daffodil Delight card stock and ink
Black Card stock and ink
Any Daffodil Delight Ribbon
Whisper White Card stock
Any DSP that has some yellow
Eyelets (Retired, I am trying to use up old supplies, but you could use brads as well).
I will admit that the placement of the ribbon and horizontal DSP is there to cover up some shadowing when I stamped one of the daffodils. That is one of things about card making. It is only paper. Just layer another element on top to cover up a boo.
The flower centres were stamped and then punched out and glued in the centre of each flower. I originally popped them up but it looked too home made. Not sure if you know what I mean. My stamping friends know that I love to pop things up, but not in this case.
