If you liked yesterday’s Christmas card using the Detailed Santa Thinlit’s Die… you are going to LOVE today’s card. It is super simple, but when you add some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and a pop of Red Glimmer Paper for the pom pom, you have a super fun and Glittery Christmas card.
The Scoop
- Detailed Santa Thinlits Die
- Greetings from Santa stamp set
- Whisper White Thick card stock
- Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
- Red Glimmer Paper
- Circle Punch
- Night of Navy ink
- Multipurpose Tombow Glue
The Deets
- Cut a standard card size using the Thick Whisper White card stock
- Use the Detailed Santa Thinlits to cut the image on the front of the card with the straight detailed die towards the bottom of the card.
- Cut a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 and use the Detailed Santa Thinlits to cut the image out of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
- Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the card using Night of Navy
- Use the Star stamp from and Night of Navy to add stars in the open area on the inside of the card (to the right) to fill in the space.
- Using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive add a small dot, dot, dot to the back of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and lay it over the image cut out on the card front. I put a piece of scrap paper inside the card to ensure none of the adhesive spilled out onto the inside.
- Punch out two circles from the Red Glimmer Paper and sandwich these over the end of the pom pom using the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
