Kris is the idol. My fav. I know it was an upset and everyone expected Adam to win, but I think he was just a bit too “out there” for most people (myself included). I am a happy camper. I loved the song Kris sang with Keith Urban. I hope it is available to download.
Here is a card using the “Voila” stamp set from Stampin Up. This was one of those stamps that I Had to Have.. but never used. I finally inked it on the weekend. I think it may end up on the “retirement list” come June 1 (just a guess on my part). The paper used is some leftover DSP that came in a Hostess Level I pack. I stamped the image and then cut it out and glued it onto the DSP. I then stamped the hat again and popped it up with some dimensionals.

This is sooooo adorable. Love him on that background of red polka dots. This is one of the cutest ways to use this stamp that I’ve seen.

I love this image and I use it from time to time. You did a superb job on this card and I love the designer paper you used.
I’ll admit, I didn’t watch the whole A.I. finale as I was just too pooped that night. But I DVR’d it and still have it on the TV. I saw who won, though, and I really wasn’t surprised either way it was to turn out. I personally loved watching Adam, but Kris really seemed to carve out his niche this season. I’m sure they’ll both do really well. As for the “Voila” set, if SU does retire this, I think I’m going to finally have to get it! I keep putting it off, but he’s just too cute! You’re willingness to painstakingly cut him out is impressive!

I love this stamp set….and just got the Voila to Go, my daughter wants to go to culinary school, so even if it retires, it’s staying in my stash.

Fantastic card – I like the red background you used. I’m in the minority I guess, I am a rocker girl and really enjoyed Adam’s talent. Ah well, the top four or five will get record contracts anyway.
Great card, live that image paired with the red dotted paper, looks great. I don’t watch American Idol, but I know that a lot of people I work with were shocked too.
I, too, was shocked but thrilled! I agree with you, perhaps Adam was a little too much for some (myself included)! Both will go on to a music careers anyway!
