After I finished the Baptism invites – I took a few days off from being creative and blogging. I had a bit of a house emergency towards the end of the week – the ceiling fan/light in the master bedroom was shorting out and blew the lights and the breaker. It isn’t fun showering in the dark. Luckily I have some great co-workers that help me out when I need things done at home and the lighting fixture has been removed. I still need to replace it. The bedside lamps are coming in very handy right now. I haven’t figured out if I want to replace it with another ceiling fan or a regular light. Someone even suggested a chandelier. How opulent!
So… I am just getting to last week’s Surfin Ocean Eleven’s challenge – using embossing in your card. Here is my submission.
Again apologies for being MIA. I am off now to do some blurffing and see what the gals have been up to.
Have a good one.

This is fantastic! I love how you pulled this together.

Oh, go with the chandelier! It’s really only fitting for a woman who spent her birthday at Tiffany’s, after all.
Love the card, especially the color combo. Is that Night of Navy? Totally one of my favorite colors of all times!
Elizabeth, sorry about the drama at home. Things always seem to go awry at the worst times! Hope you get the lights fixed soon! Your card is fantastic! It’s so cheerful and celebratory (is that a word?) and I LOVE the little row of hats! Well done!
I love the card and the cuttlebug template you used..
Beautiful colors! At first I thought the hat panel was a window..but it isn’t, is it? I love it and the ribbon!
What a cute card…I love the dry embossing…I haven’t finished the challenge yet I hope to finish it tomorrow…great job.
What a fun card. It looks like you cut out the sections for your tag and image. Very creative.
Very cute card Elizabeth! Glad you got help with the fan! Glad you got to stamp today! Your embossing is great! I love this ef!
