Flower Shop Birthday Card and my crafting “zen”

My Blog Header has the phrase “Creativity is Contentment” and if I am colouring…. I am Content!    My mind goes blank, everything around me goes quiet and there is a sense of peace….. all from the pleasure of colouring.      Have you found your crafting “zen”?

Before I received my stash of “Blendabilities” I needed a special birthday card and broke out the COPICs.      They work so well with the Flower Shop stamp set.    I can’t wait to recreate the card using Stampin’ Up!’s Blendabilities.

The special part of this card is that it is also a Bookmark.     The right hand side is perforated (thanks to the special blade on the Stampin’ Up! Trimmer) to tear off and use as a Bookmark.      While the outside of the card used the Flower Shop stamp set, I needed a smaller flower for the bookmark section…. The Petite Petal stamp set fit the bill.   I think it co-ordinated perfectly with the Flower Shop stamp set.   Don’t you think?

And what would a special card be.. without a special envelope.
