Happy Easter, Embrace Life

It is spring, closing out on the month of March and I still have a “hill” (because it is more than a mound!) of snow at the end of my driveway. It has to be close to 6′ high. Grant it this is where all the snow from the driveway ended up when I shoveled, but I swear it will be July before it has melted. It is cold out today, but the sun is beaming through the windows. I truly inspiring day to sit in my studio to work on some cards.

I have been thinking about going to SU’s annual convention this year. I had sent an e-mail to my Upline asking her some questions. Next thing you know, a SU acquaintance of my Upline’s was at Leadership and won a ticket to the convention. I received an e-mail from her wanting to know if I was interested in buying it as she can’t attend. We are checking with SU to make sure there are no restrictions, BUT….. there is a good chance I am going to Salt Lake in July. WHEEEEEE!

Now my mind is spinning with what I can do for swaps. I have never been to an organized SU event before and am hesitant on the level of difficulty / detail of my swaps (I like clean lines). I was playing with Embrace Life today and came up with this. I know the ribbon isn’t SU but is this too simple? Thoughts?.
