I hope you all got lots of hugs, kisses and chocolate for Valentines Day. Isn’t it funny how chocolates are part of almost every holiday – except maybe Thanksgiving. Who knows… maybe they will come out with chocolates made in the shape of a turkey.
I made a bunch more cards today using the Just Buzzin By set. When I took a look at the one posted yesterday, I thought it needed a bit more umph. Here is my umph’ed up card.
I ended up making 6 of them to add to my stash of cards I sell at work. The thing I love about making cards – if you goof on something, it is just paper. You can put an embellishment over the goof, switch the layout a bit, flip the paper over, or get another piece of paper and start over. On one of the cards I got some of the brown ink in a spot where it shouldn’t have been (gotta keep your hands clean). So I got out my handy – dandy Stampin Up! Colour Spritzer tool and speckled the card. I ended up liking the look so I speckled all the cards.
Gotta say – The Color Spritzer Tool is an often overlooked item in the Stampin Up! arsenal of tools – but I love it. It is like a blow pen, you put a marker in the hub and the tip goes in front of the air hole. You pump away and get the speckled affect on your piece of paper. It is on page 190 of the 2009 Spring/Summer Catalogue (Item No. 107066) and retails for $16.50.
Just a reminder, for every $60.00 spent between now and the end of March, you can select a free product out of the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. There are 4 stamp sets, 1 pack of Designer Series Paper and a Ribbon Bundle to choose from. Also, for every $60.00 spent, you get a punch on my Stamp-a-Bunch-Punch-Card. Six punches and you can choose $25.00 worth of stuff out of the Catalogue. Its a win-win all around.
I am putting the Just Buzzin By set away tonight and hopefully will play with something new tomorrow.
