Hi Stampers
My Laptop is possessed. After dropping it a few weeks ago, it has been hit/miss if it works. I have resorted to working on an old desktop (has to be 10 years old). It is slow, but I can do what I need to (for now). I had the laptop sitting on the floor, plugged in (hoping for a miracle). Sometimes the Power Adapter will work, sometimes the battery will recharge. But it all stopped. About 5 days ago, the power adapter stopped working and the battery drained… it was dead. We are fortunate at work to have a PC Loan Purchase Program…. so I don’t know what I am waiting for.
But this afternoon, I happen to look at the computer sitting on the floor in the corner of the room and VOILA! The green light on the power adapter is working. OMG. And the battery is charged. But here is the thing. I don’t want to move it. There is obviously something wrong with the connection. I am afraid it I move it everything will stop working (again). So for now, I will continue to use the old desktop or lie on the floor. In hindsight, I think that was one of the reasons I was “creatively productive” the past few weeks. Instead of wasting time on the computer, I was making cards. Hum. What does that tell you?
On to a card. This is another sample using the Bear Hugs stamp set. The Duet Banners punch are a perfect match for this bear.
