Hi Stampers
The last few years I have wanted to hold a new Catalogue Kick Off at a local venue – taking it outside of the house. I have always chickened out and was afraid I wouldn’t be able to fill it. This year, I took the bull by the horns, booked a venue, advertised it and am so pleased to say that 21 Stampers are coming out for an afternoon of creativity, friendship, refreshments and stamping. I have recruited a co-worker to help me out… so in total there will be 23 of us. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this event. I still have lots of work to do, but my check list is being worked daily and things are getting crossed off. The big day is May 26th. The venue is really nice… it is a local recreation centre near my home that overlooks a man-made lake. Of course I will let you know how it goes.
One of the things I am busy doing is creating samples from new product. One of the stamp sets I received at OnStage was the “In Every Season” stamp set. I wanted to showcase all of the stamps in the set and had an old frame on hand. I will admit that I don’t know what the various flowers are or what month they represent (I guessed at some of them), but in the end, I love how this project turned out.
