It Starts with Art….

Hi Stampers

As I write this Blog Post, there are only 3 more weeks until the Greek Isles Cruise.   Can you believe it?    Where has the time gone?     I still have a few things left to do for the Cruise (swaps is #1), but otherwise everything is in place.    We are going to Rome ahead of time and have 3 full days jam packed with tours and excursions.    Then we head for the Cruise Ship (pinch me!).    With this being my first Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip I have no clue what to expect… but my #1 goal is to try and experience everything and  Live In The Moment!   

And speaking of experiencing everything….. participating in the Greek Isles Blog Hop is just the start.       This month I have a fun card to share using the “It Starts with Art” stamp set and the co-ordinating die “Arts & Crafts”.     I thought this was the perfect set to play with as …… this is why I am here…. “It started with Art”.     

It Starts with Art

This card has some splattering using an Aqua Painter and a pool of ink from the Highland Heather stamp pad, some stitching above the scalloped trim using the long piece from the Stitched Nested Labels Die, a scattering of stamped off buttons, some die cut buttons and a Silver Glimmer paper clip.   Lots of little details on this card that brings it all together.   

And who doesn’t love Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape together!

When you stamp the pencils / markers, there are three images.   I only wanted two on the outside … why waste the third image…. it fits perfectly on the inside of the card.
