Hi Stampers
Many years ago (ok… decades!) I put together a doll house. It was from a kit, but it took a while to do and I loved the final result. It was a two story house. I painted the outside of it, and on the inside I wall papered it, added carpeting, bought furniture and even wired the house for lights. It was a true labour of love and it is proudly displayed in my craft room .
I bet you are wondering why I am telling you this…. and how does this relate to cards? Well… fast forward 20+ years and on Stampin’ Up!’s Facebook Page for Demonstrators, a very clever Demonstrator posted a card that lit up. She used copper tape, LED lights and a Battery. When I saw that, I remembered the Doll House and how I wired it… yes with Copper Tape. Since I used miniature lamps and light fixtures for the doll house, I had to go in search of the LED light stickers.. but I found them. What did we ever do without the Internet? I digress… and now on to the purpose of this post. YES… a card that lights up!
This is my first attempt at making a card that lights up.
Too cute.!!!!
