I am very happy to let you know that the “Jar of Love” stamp set and co-ordinating thinlits are returning into the new catalogue. This is a classic stamp set that has so many possibilities. The Ronald McDonald stamp set in the new catalogue co-ordinates with the thinlits….. love it when Stampin’ Up! does that. My prediction…. it will be a hit! This card was inspired from one I saw on “Laura’s Creative Moments”.
This is a card for someone special that needs some encouragement and support. The jar was stamped on vellum card stock then embossed in white powder. I added pool party ink to the back of the vellum, added clear embossing powder on top of the ink and heated it up. It gives it the look of water. That was a happy accident. I had no intention of adding the clear embossing powder, but the ink was taking too long to dry (not sure if it ever would!) so I improvised. Taaahhhh Daaaahh. Don’t you love it when that happens? Wink of Stella to some of the flowers, Rhinestones to the other flowers, a vellum firefly in gold and you have a bouquet of flowers for someone special.
