Ocean’s 11 Group – Lets Go Surfin with a Challenge

By | December 26, 2015

I am back to work tomorrow after a week’s vacation. It was great being off – I got to be creative whenever the urge hit. Unfortunately I don’t usually get a chance during the week when I am working. I still try to set Sunday’s aside to play in my craft room though.

So… today I was making some cards and thought of a Challenge for the Surfin Ocean’s 11 Blogging Group (check out their sites – they are listed on the right hand side).

This challenge is to have a “Sky” in your card, layout or altered item. So get the creative juices flowing and post your creations.

Here is my card. Let the Surfin’ begin. (PS.. my clouds could have been darker)

This is so pretty! I love how you made the flowers! The colors are just gorgeous! And I like your sky…does not look too light to me!

This came out really pretty. I like the variation in colors in the flowers and that splash of blue with the butterfly is great.

Elizabeth, this card is stunning! I love the depth to it – it really seems as though the flowers are layered and just makes you want to touch them! I’m excited for this new challenge! Thank you for taking this on and giving us another great inspiration! Now I just need to get busy crafting…

Oooh I like the sky, very nice! Sorry you won’t have as much time to play now. Very pretty effect you’ve created with this, reminds me of laying down low in a field of flowers and looking up. almost make me feel warm (almost, not having snow on the ground would help that a lot).

I like the lightness of the clouds – gives your card a lot of depth.
