What! Today at work I received a call from a 1-800 number. I am thinking it is some type of tele marketer (I have a direct line at work and sometimes get odd calls). OH NO IT WASN’T….. It was Stampin’ Up! He must have thought I had diarrhea of the mouth and to be honest I am not sure what I said. He was calling me regarding the Regional Event that was being held in Utah. My first sentence was “You are’t going to tell me I can’t go”. He laughed and asked why I was so excited to attend.
Well……
It is Stampin’ Up!s Silver Anniversary,
It was a smaller group (400 compared to 4000 at Convention) and I am not 100% sure I will make convention this year (I want to tho)
I needed some inspiration and motivation,
I needed an excuse to get away and
WE GET THE NEW CATALOGUE AND CAN SHOP!
I was told that they were surprised at the registration. They were expecting a lot from Utah to sign up but it turns out that almost half of the US states will be represented AND ….. I am 1 of only 2 Canadian Demonstrators that was NUTS enough to sign up. (OK… the nuts part is my interpretation)…. bottom line only me and one other from Alberta are coming from CANADA. I think that sums it up… I AM NUTS! But I am super excited.! Remember folks….. everything that I will see, learn, hear, etc. will be Top Secret and I won’t be able to share it with you til it goes live to the public.
I have already set the dates for the New Catalogue Open House. I looked at facilities today to take it offsite, but when I figure in the cost factor for the room, and having to lug everything to the hall to make it look presentable, I decided to hold it at home again. I will reconfigure the living room this year and have everything set up there (make/take, class samples, door prizes, etc). Can you tell I am excited.
If you have read this far, you will have to come back later tonight to see one of the cards we will be making on Saturday. OMG… it is adorable. I was so happy with how it turned out. Yeppers..consider it another tease.
Thanks for stopping by,Elizabeth, Your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
