Salt Lake City…Here I Come!

Heavens…. I did it.    I will be going to Salt Lake City for a Regional Event.   I know.. it isn’t very Regional to Toronto.    Someone had posted on the Stampin’ Up! Demo board that it was like getting the Golden Ticket to the chocolate factory.   Well folks, I got the Golden Ticket (but am paying for it).      Last week 400 tickets came available for the event and I was able to pick one up before the event sold out.    I figured if I didn’t go I would be out the cost of the ticket.    But the more I thought about it, the more I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted to go.    Yep.. the Devil won out 🙂

I had booked a hotel (just in case) and today I booked the airfare and car.    I will be meeting up with a Demo from Texas and we are going to share the cost of the hotel.     Not only is it Stampin’ Up’s! Silver Anniversary, and the event is being held at Stampin’ Up!’s head office, but  everyone at the event will get the new Catalogue.     Unfortunately we had to sign a confidentiality agreement so I won’t be able to share it with anyone before it is released.     But since I will also be able to pick up new stamp sets while at the event, I hope to come back armed with new ideas, samples and inspiration.    It will be a jam packed day… starting at 8:00 am and going to 6:00 pm.
