Hi Stampers
Last week was my monthly Coffee and a Card at Coffee Culture Cafe, on Bramalea Road. There is one more session before winter sets in – Wednesday September 27th. I can’t express to you enough as to how much I enjoy taking this creative outlet of mine out into the community. I look forward each month to going to the coffee shop and stamping with everyone. Everyone has asked me if I am going to continue after September and I honestly don’t know how it would work in the winter. I have images of snowfalls, shovelling driveways and cleaning off cars… never mind everyone coming to the coffee shop in their winter coats / boots. I have to give this some thought as to how it would work. But I digress…..why I am really posting….
Everyone that came out last Wednesday received a super cute (well I think so), Spooky Cat treat box. Inside the box are two hard liquorice sticks from Bulk Barn. They are 4 for $1.00…. what a great deal and I wanted to do something with them for a long time. That is where the idea for the treat box came from. The liquorice comes in a variety of flavours, but if you are going to make a Halloween Treat Box…. what is better than black liquorice… right?
The picture above is the treat box that everyone received. But I was asked by many on how to make them, what the dimensions were, etc. So today… I have a quick video tutorial on how to make the box, with directions, dimensions. In the video I used the Hat and Happy Halloween from the Spooky Cat stamp set. Enjoy.
