Hi Stampers
While on May 9th I celebrated 7 years with Stampin’ Up!, I am very proud and honoured to say that on May 28th, I will be celebrating 25 years of service in my “real job”. Despite what people think… I am pretty quiet, don’t like to be the centre of attention and dislike being surprised.
My bosses and co-workers decided to surprise me earlier this month with a cake and presentation. They figured if they did it before the 28th, they would catch me off guard. I appreciated the celebration and must admit that when the 28th does come… I will be able to relax.
“Surprise”
And now for the face that says…. “Who do I blame for this”?…. it is all in the eyes!
And a very flattering shot of me and all my chins cutting the cake 🙂
We get to pick Service Awards for milestone years…. in the past I have picked jewellery, binoculars, etc. This year I decided to get a Camcorder. So you know what that means Stampers…. I will be able to do better/more videos. But the real reason I got the Camcorder was for my trip to France. There is also a commemorative block (I blurred the inscription), case for the camcorder, Zipper pull and a brass engraved luggage tag (that I put somewhere “safe” and can’t find). At the end of summer there is a formal lunch for those that reach 25, 35, 40 years service in the year.
That is is for me an Anniversaries…. but I must say… I have had a great May.
Thanks for stopping by,
Elizabeth, Your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
