I decided that I need to start thinking “outside the box” when it comes to creating cards. I go through galleries for inspiration, but need to trust myself to come up with my own / original creations. The first step is to start going through the Sketch Challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. Considering I am starting at Sketch #1 and there are currently something like 166 sketches – I am going to be doing these for a while.
Here is my version of SC01, using SU Lovely as a Tree and SU cardstock. As I look at the card, I can see this layout being used in a variety of other ways. Wooohooo… the beginning of my imagination.
