Hi Stampers and welcome back.
The second full day in Vegas… let’s find a Target store 🙂   Oh yes folks.   We have to get some goodies for our room.   I am sharing the room with Tamara and Diane.   Luckily we have a room with a view of the pool and canyon, room 1-724.  You couldn’t get tired of the view.   The conference was held at the Red Rock Canyon Resort.   This place was incredible.   Full movie theatre (I think with 9 cinemas), a huge bowling alley, bingo hall, casino, food court, 12 full restaurants, multiple pools and cabanas (more on the cabanas tomorrow).
A group of us met for breakfast at the Lucky Spoon to plan our Day…. a little bit of shopping, food and friends.
When we got back from target a few of us split up to do other things. For me, it was a visit to the Las Vegas strip (we were about a 20 minute Uber ride away). On our way to the strip, we could see the sky light up with lightening. Of course.. we are in the middle of the desert and there is a thunder storm. We didn’t let it stop us. The Uber driver dropped us off at the Bellagio as the heavens opened up. A couple of Demonstrator friends, Barb and Belle, were staying at the Bellagio before the conference started and met us in the lobby. While the rain poured, we checked out the floral display then took the tram to Park MGM and had dinner at Eataly. By the time we were done the rain had let up and we headed outside to check out the fountains at the Bellagio.
By the time we headed back to our Resort it was close to midnight. Great day / night with friends.
