Hi Stampers
A few years ago Stampin’ Up! set up some pretty strict guidelines for Demonstrators that had blogs / websites. Basically.. if it wasn’t Stampin’ Up!, we couldn’t show it. Some long-time, respected demonstrators resigned over these guidelines.
For the most part I adhered to the guidelines and was never caught when I did show the odd “Contraband” product. I am happy to say that Stampin’ Up! has announced they are loosening up on the policy. There are still guidelines we need to follow, but I can now “freely” show you cards with “contraband” without the fear of being caught.
To celebrate…… Check out this card. I had the Screen Doors for just over a year but never found a use for them. Actually they were stuck in my “contraband” bucket which I didn’t always go to. And yes Stampers… they are Halloween Cards 🙂
Stamp Set
Wicked Cool (Retired)
Cardstock
Basic Black
Crumb Cake
Silver Glimmer Paper. I actually wanted Black Glimmer Paper but didn’t have any. So I rubbed VersaMark over the paper then took a mixture of Black and Iridescent Ice and embossed it over the Silver Glimmer Paper. Worked like a charm!
Ink
Black Stazon
VersaMark
Misc
Bat Punch (retired)
Glimmer Brads
Dimensionals
Pumpkin Pie Marker
Rich Razzleleberry Marker
I hope you like the card. I won’t be showing lots of Contraband but you may now see the odd thing from time to time.
Thanks for stopping by,
Elizabeth, Your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
