I have another card to show you from the “Among the Branches” stamp set and the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing folder bundle. This time it is a Fall card.
I have a bit of a confession though. I think the image for Fall is more for a “recipe” type of card, food gift, tag scrapbook page, etc.. The full saying is “Autumn Wishes & Tasty Dishes”. I wanted to use it on a Fall / Thanksgiving card but needed to cover the saying “& tasty dishes”, without it looking obvious.
I decided to stamp the little leaves over the very vanilla. It almost looks like a patterned piece of paper – it worked. I continued the detail on the bottom of the card and again on the circle under the main stamped image. The leaves on the branches are a mixture of Hello Honey, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler.
Of course a bit of bling with the Gold Glimmer paper and the Gold Metallic thread pulls this whole card together.
When you have a stamp that doesn’t work for you…. change things up a bit. I am really happy with the final the card.
Of course… the stamp would work perfectly if you were making preserves, pies and needed tags, or for a scrapbook page, place cards for Thanksgiving Dinner…. etc.
