Nope.. not a stamping post today. But I do want to share with you a bit of a review of Aria Bistro & Lounge. For those local, you will appreciate the information.
Today my work had its Annual Service Award Luncheon for those celebrating their 25, 30, 35 & 40 years of services. Yeh… I made it to 25 years. My actual anniversary was in May, but they invite all of us and our immediate bosses to a lunch each year. This year it was held at Aria Bistro & Lounge in Brampton. I have not been here since it changed ownership last year, but heard great reviews.
What an amazing meal, with attentive service and great ambience. It is an old home, decorated and appointed beautifully. There were 15 of us and we gathered in the bar area before going up for lunch. I didn’t realize that the gentleman that came up to me and recommended a particular wine was the owner. He was attentive and knowledgeable about the wine he recommended and it was delicious (if I could remember the name – but it was from Spain).
We had 3 choices to pick from for Appetizer, Main and Dessert. Let’s see, The Smoked Salmon appetizer was delicious, the aged steak was like butter in my mouth, the mashed potatoes and veggies were perfect, and to top it off the Cheesecake was so light and delicious… did I say the warm bread was perfect 🙂 Good thing I weighed in at Weight Watchers yesterday. I have a week to work it off.
The owner put in a beautiful outdoor patio this year and my BFF’s and I are already making plans to visit one evening for a patio dinner (if the weather co-operates).
Highly recommend Aria Bistro and Lounge.
