I love being off work.   I have some things that I want (need) to get done.  One of them is painting the spare bedroom.   It use to be my craft room and is now almost empty.   I have actually closed the door to the room so I don’t see the mess.  I know that I can’t avoid it any longer.   I want to turn the room into a pretty spare bedroom .   I bought the paint but still need to remove some shelves etc and patch up some of the walls.     I am really not in the mood to do it but know I will be happy once it is done.      I know I am not alone, by the time Christmas arrives I get a bit burnt out.   Now that all Clubs, Classes and Events are done for 2015, I hope to spend some time playing with new product and getting to things that I have been ignoring.

Bear Hugs, 2016 Occasions Catalogue

Of course, always on my list of “to do’s” is making cards.     Today I played a bit more with the Bear Hugs stamp set.   I used a similar design from a Christmas card I made this year.    It is complete with a window box with flowers, clouds – even a line of drying fish. 🙂   I love that this stamp set has a co-ordinating framelit.    This is new product that will be in the 2016 Occasions Catalog.

Isn’t this a fun card?   I love pop ups and especially ones that fold flat and fit inside a standard envelope.   Oh yes… this card would be best hand-delivered or mailed in a blister envelope – with extra postage!
