Last Saturday was our Team Get-Together. I have wanted a LOGO for our Team for a while and finally went on FIVEER (love that place) and got someone to make me a LOGO. What do you think? It is perfect and captures what I was thinking ….. no question… we are Stampers from Canada.
Anyhow….. at the Team Get-together we met some new Team Members, recognized some Milestones, Titles and Birthdays and talked about Stampin’ Up!, the Canadian Business Conference, our businesses, challenges and successes and Sale-a-Bration.
Last month I sent everyone an envelope containing….
- a piece of Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration
- a piece of Dapper Denim square
- a piece of Whisper White Stitched Framelit square
- a piece of Dapper Denim ribbon
and I issued them a challenge to create a card using the product I sent them. They could alter the pieces in any way, use any stamp set / ink / embellishment they wanted. The goal was to show that even though we all started with the same items, each card will look completely different… and it worked.
A Team Meeting wouldn’t be complete without a project or two. There were 3 projects planned, but one was a bit involved and we ran out of time….so everyone took the pieces home for the other two projects to create their own masterpieces.
So… what was the project that was involved…… I LOVE IT! I have seen many Succulent Garden projects (and I will share another one another day), but what I loved about this was that other than the foam and moss… it is all Stampin’ Up!. The White Gift Boxes are carried over from the Holiday Catalogue and they are perfect for this project. You can change the Happy Mother’s Day to be a Birthday, Easter, Get Well box, etc. Isn’t this purdy? Of course the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper is perfect for this project.
Do you love the box as much as I do?
The date for our next Team Get-Together is scheduled for Saturday April 22nd. I will be attending OnStage on April 8th and have been selected as a Display Stamper so I hope to have a lot to share with the Team.
If you are in Canada and are reading this, you can join the Maple Leaf Stampers and participate in our meetings and challenges. More info can be found HERE and you can always contact me for more information.
Have a great evening. Thanks for stopping by,
