Thank you for joining us on the Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop.     We come from a variety of different countries to showcase the latest in Stampin’ Up! product and ideas.   This month we are focusing on Halloween.    If you are joining me from Melanie’s blog, welcome to Canada.     Wasn’t her project adorable.

While there are some great Halloween stamps and dies in the Holiday catalogue I am focusing on a versatile set in the Annual Catalogue.    I love this set as it incorporates Christmas, Halloween and Tags, but you can turn those tags into cards.     You got to love it when a stamp set and die does double duty.

Introducing Boo… Halloween using “Seasonal Chums”

Not only am sticking with the Annual Catalogue, I am also resurrecting a card design from years ago.   I like to keep one of all of my “special” cards.    Cleaning up my studio last month I came across an oldie but a goodie and immediately knew what I wanted to do with it.

And of course the best part of all, it folds flat to fit into a standard envelope.

 

Are you curious where I got that Lemon Lime Twist Baker’s Twine…. a sponge dauber, some Lemon Lime Twist ink and White Baker’s Twine.

Wait… what about that Black Glimmer paper?    The Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the Black Stampin’ Blends…. bang.. you have yourself black Glimmer Paper.     This card closes using the Baker’s Twine.

I have been using the Seasonal Chums set a lot in the past month…..here is a Christmas Card.  I will be posting other creations over the next week.

If you are curious to see the original card from years gone by…. an oldie but a goodie.   I used velcro as the closure for this card.
