Butterflies Thinlits Die and Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper

By | May 10, 2015

Hi Stampers

Happy Mother’s Day.  Whether your Mom is here, far away or in your Heart…. keep the memories close.

Lord, are there roses in your garden
On the shores of jubilee
Would you pick a dozen of your best
And deliver them for me ?

This card reminds me of Mother’s Day…. flowers, butterflies and happiness.

This is one of May’s Club cards… but I switched up the orientation.   It uses the Butterflies Thinlit, Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from Butterfly Basics.    This is such a simple card and the Designer Series Paper is gorgeous.    While the Butterflies Thinlit and the Butterfly Basics stamp set is carrying over into the new Catalogue – the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper is retiring.    This card can be easily reproduced using any pretty Designer Series Paper… and there are loads of options in the new catalogue.

I used the dryer sheet technique when running the thinlit through the Big Shot… in most cases I use unscented dryer sheets, but I had none on hand.   I used a scented one and the card smells like a field of flowers.

This is a pretty card – perfect to celebrate Mother’s Day.   Enjoy.
