Coffee and a Card…. so much fun

Hi Stampers

Thanks for checking in.      Wednesday was Coffee and a Card day and another awesome turnout at the Coffee Shop.    It was a drizzly day and the cafe was pretty quiet when we started, but boy it was busy when we were leaving.    There was another group coming in – a Women’s Networking group that was just starting as we were finishing.    I love that the coffee shop allows different groups to come in.     One of the ladies from the Networking group was interested in what we were doing so I left her the information on the next Coffee and a Card.    There was also a young man in the Coffee Shop.   He was studying and became intrigued in what we were doing.   I asked if he wanted to make a card and he smiled  and said “But I don’t know how”.      Little did he know.    He grabbed a chair and with help from myself and the other stampers around him his card turned out awesome.     He took pictures step by step.   He was so proud when he finished.

I was stumped this month for a card idea ….. so I pulled out the Annual Catalogue.     I came across a card on page 139 using the Eastern Palace set and decided it would be a perfect card for the group to make.    I changed the colours on the card to make it more unique.    As I was making it, I thought that if you made the flower more red and pink, you would have an awesome Christmas card.    Just an idea.
