Hear me Roar…. a childs birthday card using some punch art

Card - Children

Hi Stampers

It is Sunday night as I write this and I swear fall is in the air.   It is cool and raining.   The windows are open and there is a nice breeze coming in the house – perfect sleeping weather.

I use to say that masculine or sympathy cards were hard for me to do.   I think I finally have those mastered.  Now it is kids cards.    You can tell from my gallery that there aren’t a lot of children’s cards there.   I think it is because I don’t like working with primary colours.   Anyhow,  the store that sells my cards has asked if I could do children’s cards so I have my work cut out for me.

That request, with my quest to use up old product, this is what I have.    It is a start…. right?

The Lion is made with the Blossom punch, the 1 3/8″ circle, 1″ circle, and Owl Builder Punch.  The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen.  The card base (Daffodil Delight) and Lions Face (So Saffron) are also current.    The Paper, first layer card stock, Lions Mane and brads are all retired.

This is my “sample” card.   I may do some tweaking.
