Lavender Sachets – Decorating Muslin Bags

This weekend I am meeting some of the ladies I will be traveling to France with.   You can’t go to the Provence and not visit a Lavender field… right?   Well I decided to make lavender sachets for the travellers in honour of the trip.

I stamped the back of the bag with the En Francais (retired) stamp.  The front I stamped in Stazon and used markers to colour the lavender and stems.   To be honest, I didn’t have a lavender stamp.   I used a stamp from the Wetland set.  I think it is suppose to be bullrushes or wheat.   I just coloured the flowers with Elegant Eggplant and made them a bit longer.   I think it works.

I then made a little tag to pin to the bag (using retired parisian themed stamps) and filled the bags with Lavender.    Tah Dah…. done.

Aren’t they adorable.   I hope everyone likes them.
