OnStage London Swap Card

Card - Birthday

Hi Stampers

I have lost a little track of time (it seems to be going by so fast).  I realized that I haven’t even shared any details about OnStage.   I will in the next few posts….   But first….  when I went to OnStage, I drove to London with a friend, Katherine.    We stayed at the DoubleTree and made arrangements to meet up with other Demonstrator friends for drinks, dinner, drinks and some creative time.    When we were checking in to the hotel, I had forgotten my cell phone in the car.   Katherine held our spot in the checkin line while I went back to the car.   I wasn’t running, but was walking very fast / briskly.    Well I stepped off the sidewalk onto the street with my left foot… and felt the strength in my knee go.   I didn’t fall, but kind of went into a crunch position.    I stood back up and thought… hmmm… that was weird.   Shook it off and kept going.     I didn’t even mention it to anyone as it went away.     Went to dinner Friday night, did OnStage on Saturday, drove home Saturday night and Sunday I was ok.   Monday… not so much.   I went to the Dr. who sent me for an X-ray and Ultrasound.     Turns out I have torn my MCL and meniscus.    This is the same knee that I torn a ligament on when I was in my 20’s (skiing) and it has given me trouble over the years, putting it down to arthritis.   But now I am not sure.      Anyhow… an MRI is being scheduled, physio starts on Thursday and once the MRI comes back it is off to see and Orthopedic surgeon.    Have to say that I was a bit relieved to find out it wasn’t something more serious.

So now on to some creative inspiration 🙂

This was my second swap card for OnStage.   The good news about this stamp set and punch is that it is carrying over into the new Annual catalogue.   Woohoo.    This is a sleeper of a set but oh it has possibilities.   Later in the week I will share some candy packaging with you.

Lemon Zest
